Justin Thibault scored the game-winning overtime goal at 13:52, lifting the Chiefs over the Northern Cyclones, assisted by Jack Gricus.

The Cyclones enjoyed that lead for more than 13 minutes, before David VanIterson scored, with the assists going to Casey Johnson and Easton Swift at 6:46 of the third. Jake Stevens gave the Chiefs their second lead of the game, 3-2, at the 11:59 mark of the third. Anthony Sparo and Nolan Collison earned the assists.
Aidan Petroff scored his second goal, which would eventually lead to the overtime as he set it at 3-3 with an unassisted goal.
